Reliance Hvac did a great job. Especially Dylan, it’s nice having a company that is trustworthy to leave a luxury home all day and not have to worry. He was very thorough, And explained everything very well. Greatly appreciated!

This is my 3rd time using Reliance and I am compelled to share my experience. The 1st and 2nd time went well. The 3rd time was horrible. They had been to my home 3 months ago and gave my HVAC a clean bill if health. Then on Sunday no cold air. So I called and a reliance technician showed up. Twenty minutes later I was told that it was my thermostat, I had a choice of a $195 thermostat or roughly a $400 thermostat. I chose the $195 thermostat, a few minutes later the technician showed me a electric contactor that he said it would be failing soon, he advised changing it. That was another $375. At the end my total bill was $640.00. What is so upsetting is that later I found out that the thermostat can be purchased for $35 and the contact about $45. I spent $640 for about an hours worth of work and with less than $100 in parts. When I went to the AC department at my work I was told that the thermostat may have just needed a new battery and that the contactor will always have dark spots due to it normal operations. I called Reliance on the following Monday, explained my situation and was told that someone would be calling me. To date, no return call. When I first started using Reliance I had trust with them and a sense of fairness that I counted on. Now I strongly feel that I was taken advantaged of. $640 for less than an hour, and less than $100 of parts I may or may of not needed..Loosing trust hurts. I will be reconsidering other options next time

I had 2 experiences with this company. The first, they replaced a capacitor, and the cost was $400. The second, they quoted $1200 to replace a fan motor. I felt this was an overpriced offer. Overall, the capacitor work was fine, but expensive. They did arrive quickly to the site, and were responsive.
